Hi all.

If I put some mares into a pasture, would I be able to pull eggs from them?

Do the mares get bred about 2 weeks into the breeding season if they are in a pasture?

I just double checked by putting an unbred mare into a pasture. Her name did not appear on the list for pulling eggs. I took her out of the pasture and her name did appear. Based on that, I would say that eggs cannot be pulled from mares in pastures.

Yes, to your second question, which I missed the first time around. The pasture foals arrive about the 14th of the month, though I've known them to be later on occasion. All the mares are bred at approximately the same time, and you should get an email message telling you which of the pasture foals is the "best of the bunch."

Oh cool, that is handy to know. Thanks. So I can put mares in pasture, but I'll have to pull them out briefly to pull eggs then put them back in. I pull eggs from my blue papered mares since I don't have many of those yet.

When you pull mares out of the pasture, they will lose the breeding bonus they have accumulated.

I have put several mares into pasture but it told me I only have 1 breedable mare.. why is that? And do they adomatically get bred or do I have to do something? And what is blue papered?
