    I used to do genetics quizzes back in the day as a way to help explain genetics of the game (and real life since Ammit uses the most up to date real life equine genetics with some fun fantasy options). These involve offering a hypothetical breeding pair and calculating out the potential genotype (genes/DNA) and/or phenotype (visible color) of their offspring. Any interest?

    Sure, I'd like to compete at least some of the time. Fairly often, on the Forest Server, someone will start a similar challenge by posting a foal that hasn't yet been color tested and lets us try to guess his genotype (including having the correct allele for both sire and dam) and the color name. I'm going to be away from home for a while starting next Monday while my husband has heart by-pass surgery, but I'd love to try my hand at it, if I have some time.
