If any of you remember when I said I have IBS, well it might be more than that or nothing at all.

So the flushing didn't work AT ALL, instead of having (be aware it might get a little TMI from here on out) diarrhea, I just got like super urgent diarrhea. It only made it worse. So we got back with my doctor and he scheduled me to get an Endoscopy and a Colonoscopy. He's testing me for EVERYTHING. Don't worry I'm going be knocked out so I could honestly care less! :D

But the preparation for the procedure is honestly the worst part that's going to make me feel like I'm dying. Starting today at 12:00 pm all the way until 6:00pm I'm going to be flushing myself again. The 16 capfulls, yay... Well instead of 4 hours I have 6 (thank goodness!) And instead of doing it with soda (cause I had no other choice) I'm drinking blue Gatorade. (you cannot use any red liquids cause it's hard for them to tell if it's blood or fluids so no red liquids.) So it's going to be more pleasurable with that at least but still it sucks.

So from 12:00pm to 6:00pm is when the flushing starts and ends. By 4:00pm if my poop (which is basically going to be nothing and a liquid) is not yellow (like pee) then my mom has to call them and there are other things we have to do but if it is then where clear. I could only have a light breakfast today (like two or three slices of toast but I did four eggs as it fills me up better) and from that point on it was clear liquids. (meaning I CANNOT EAT) Starting tomorrow at 7:30 I cannot have anything at ALL! Only until the procedure is done. By then I'm going to be very thirsty and starving but I can only eat stuff like soup and crackers. I have to gradually build myself back up before I can eat like normal again. Which sucks but I'd rather not get really sick so. Huh... these next few days are going to be interesting. And crappy. And I'm going to be angry cause when I get hungry I get angry. Or as my friend Rex calls it "Hangry". Derpy Goof.

Wow! That really sounds like you'll be having a miserable time. Just keep reminding yourself that it's happening in order to identify what has been going on inside you. I'm sending good thoughts and prayers your way that you'll get through the diagnostics and find an answer.

I'll be pretty miserable yea...I do know it's for the greater good cause I want to get to the bottom of this cause I want some answers. But yea, it's going to be a rollercoaster with the preparation.

If you get lucky and get an iv that'll take care of being thirsty, as for the rest good luck! Hopefully they'll figure it out this time.

I've had that double-team endo/colonoscopy before, and they give you the goooood drugs for that-- I basically had no short-term memory for the rest of the day! I know you know, but the prep really is the worst part.

After mine, I evidently kept asking my then-husband who put my pants on me, did my drum carder ever come in, did he know that they let me knit until it was time for the knockout drugs, and who put on my pants???

Then I fell asleep in my dinner.

Well Yesterday went well. Well, as well as it could have gone. Passed the 4:00pm point easily, by 6:00pm it was obviously as yellow (and blue/green cause of the Gatorade lol) as can be so I'm all clear. I haven't been too hungry, starting out I was getting pretty hungry but the Gatorade helped me A LOT. This morning is going fine so far too, I'm still slightly hungry and feel by the time we get there the Gatorade will wear off and I'll really start to feel it. But, I've been drinking cold water so it helps to distract me. Wondering how thirsty I'm going to be after 7:30am this morning, especially after the procedure, maybe haha.

@bluchrystals she did say I will be getting an IV in the waiting room or when I'm on the bed. Depends on the doctor. Being tested for everything, I hope they find something, well you know you don't but I want answers so.

@Forestshadow yea it sucks cause it just really hurts to eat sometimes. Although, when I was a little girl, I was on this really, really, expensive stuff called Nutramigen. What it was was a formula that allowed me to eat without being in pain because I was protein intolerant. So I don't know what's going on although we all have our suspicions.

@PersianPenName interesting to know you've had what I'm about to have and had short-term memory loss for the day because of the drugs! Hahaha that sounds like you were high for the rest of the day! =))

@Visions The preparation you mean? I haven't had the procedure yet. :)) But I do hope they can find an answer for me. It'll take 5 days to get the full analysis of everything but I can wait.

Here in the waiting room right now. Just waiting to be called back. Curious as to how it'll go. I'm actually more excited then anything for some weird reason. Well, see you all after the procedure. Whenever that may be.
