GMT and size question
-
So I know foundations can only be as small as 13.2 (unless it's just very very rare for them to be smaller?), but can they be GMT'd smaller? Or will 13.2 be the littlest of your options on the GMT page?
If so, how small can you edit 2nd gens with two 13.2 parents?Post edited by SherwoodStables at 2019-04-29 00:09:58 -
I'm very sure Foundation Horses can be GMT'ed however you like! As of course they are a Foundation horse. That's why heavily GMT'ed horses are Foundations, cause you can do whatever you like! Nifty ain't it?

I just checked, foundations can only have their height GMTed to creatable values, so 13.2 to 16.2. If you want larger or smaller horses, you have to breed for it. I also checked one of the ponies from a tiny riding pony project I had for a few seasons. She was the offspring of two 13.2 parents, and the smallest option available in the GMT lab was 12.3 (which was her natural height).
Breeding high quality Sheldasen horses in all the fancy colors.

Wow...that is so interesting...I thought foundations could be GMT'ed however. I guess not. Thanks for that information!
