First time the Kentucky Derby winner got disqualified!!!

He had such a good background story. I've got to feel bad for his folks. To win the KD and then have that taken away.

He was clearly the best horse in the field, there was no way he was gonna lose the race.
However, he DID impede 2 horses coming off the turn because he got spooked by the crowd noise.

I was watching, that really sucked. :( They are horses, and horses spook, veer, stumble, swerve. If it's not jockey caused, I don't agree with why they dq'd him. But, the Kentucky Derby is about the only race I watch.

They had to follow the rules. He did swerve into the paths of 2 horses and obstructed them. And if they disqualify horses for that reason in other races, but not in the Derby, then what kind of message would that have sent?
They had to be fair across the board.

Yeah it really sucked. Yeah, the Triple Crown races are the only ones I get to watch live on TV. Other races, I've got to Youtube.
