I'm thinning down some breeding stallions and saw this guy, hes het nd1 and S+ and liver chestnut with kitM and was just wondering what price would be fair IF i decide to sell him...I can't decide :-??

Did he pass SBA? For a second gen with extra goodies, I’d pay anywhere from 15k-35k just depends. Some people skyrocket liver to high five figures and people love KitM. If you decide to sell him a forum auction might be your best best. Maybe start with a reserve and go from there. He’s beautiful! :)

You should paper him as well. I personally will not buy/bid on a horse that hasn't been papered. Just helps people know his possible breeding ability before spending the money. I also agree that perhaps a forum auction would be a good idea. Start at the lowest you would possibly ever take for him (I would probably start him at 10-15k) and then see where it goes from there :) I always think "A horse is only worth what people are willing to pay for it."

As a Liver and WhiteM breeder I probably wouldn't pay over 10K for a Gen 2.

What HayesStable said :). Papering is the very important to me, since I want to be improving on previous generations. He has a lot of desirable genes too, so what he papers at would make a huge difference in what some people would pay for him.

Thanks guys! I'm saving up for a basic upgrade on my other account to paper him and hopefully either keep him or sell him :)
