Appaloosa causing this Liver shade?

I'm not sure where the DP is coming from in this mare, but I don't recall ever having a Liver that was so very "Brown" colored. She really caught my attention when I went through my foals last year, and I set her aside to look at once she got her adult image.
I'll eventually GMT her to be actually Brown before she hits breeding age, as Brown Appaloosas are what I breed that line for. I'm almost curious enough to GMT off the Lp or PATN1 just to see how that changes her shading. Before I do that though, I thought I'd pick the community brain. Best guess would be the Sooty + this girl is only het Sooty + and has the distinctive red/brown look

I think she is probably homozygous DP to be so dark on the points. The grandsire on both sides is a modified Cherry Drop (hom DP), so the DP is coming from him. I agree that the S+ is what is lightening the color on her head and body.
Here is one of my homozygous DP S+ horses from HJ2 who has a similar color to what your mare seems to have under the app:
