Hey!

I'm looking to breeding one of my horses with a 5 GEN Red Papered Foundation Mare. I'm not picky just as long as it isn't a draft.

All horses go back to a foundation ancestry (mostly). After that they are in Generations.

5th Gen Mare?
Foundation Mare?

They are two different things.

But... I have a 5Gen Stallion, no mares though yet.

Era 5 perhaps you mean? If that is the case, breeding an era 5 stallion to an era 5, 6, or 7 mare will result in an era 5 foal.

My youngest era 5's are 18yo, so there probably isn't too many around. They will mostly be those that got pushed up an era when the exceptional create spree was on. If you stallion is era5 though, if you breed him to an era6 mare the foal will still be era5
