Appaloosa Varnish Gene

Don't know if there's anyone interested in breeding Appies with no varnish gene, but now's the time to test for them in the gene sale. Pull the inbred foundarion horse up as if you're going to modify it. The snowflake gene will show if the V has the varnish mutation or not. Just don't modify the horse! :D

I'm pretty sure Ammit has asked people not to do this in the past, as that's not what the RGS system is designed for.
