Playing on both servers?
-
This might be a dumb question but I'm going to ask anyway lol
Recently I have been toying with the idea of starting an account on the Forest server, mostly to supplement this account. I just started playing a few months ago and now I understand much better how to make money and a sustainable stable. It would be cool to be able to make more of a show stable on the Forest server and be able to transfer some of the profits over to the Bluegrass server. (And of course, breed some ponies as the inspiration strikes.)
Is this even allowed? I know you can send other accounts money if your account is old enough but I dont want either account shut down or anything. Just looking for ways to increase my capital and, honestly, be able to keep playing this game even more ;) LOL
Secondly, for those of you that play on both servers, what are the differences (if any) and what are the pros and cons you see of having accounts on and playing both servers?Post edited by FlyingTurkeyFarm at 2019-05-22 22:21:00 -
Each server is a complete and separate game there is no transfer between them. That being said a lot of the differences between the games have been changed to be very similar. I play on both and run each barn similarly.
The other server has more active players and their forum is much busier.
You can send other people money (within that game server only) but it is against the rules to send it to yourself (unless you have a premium upgrade on both accounts then you can do what you wish)Breeding even generation Grullos with KP, Axiom RBG & Wrong Warp, Chinnchilla, Onyx, Phantom Autumn, Bats, Ghosts, Pumpkins, Skulls & Spiders, Plaid, Watercolour genes -
I have three accounts total - one on HJ1 and two on HJ2. All three have different breeding goals (here is blanket and leopard appys, HJ2 main account is riding horses, HJ2 alternate account is black, livers, and black liver riding horses and warmbloods) Having the two different accounts on HJ2 helps me keep my lines straight as I can both get the black dramatic looking horses and my dun, roan, cream, sabino, etc. pretty riding horses. Keeping lines separate is the main perk of two accounts in my view.
My two HJ2 accounts, Felding and Mages, can't sell horses to each other or transfer money between each other (and won't be able to unless I get a premium account for both of them). In order to keep things fair, if someone is doing a giveaway or a contest, only one or the other enters. Felding and Mages both learned a lot from Chateau, which was my first account. Chateau suffers for it a bit in that I didn't take full advantage of my pointed creates over here so my show bonus is lower. But ultimately, all three barns are run the same, with as much emphasis on show stock as possible.
I spend more time on HJ2, mostly because there's more activity on the other server, so there's more conversations and contests to take up time. -
Thanks folks, thats what I thought about sending money between accounts but wanted to verify. I guess I will only make a Forest Server account if I end up wanting to play a different game :) thanks.
