Of Complete confusion and not being interested in what your saying or talking about when talking about this game to your friends or family?

Well...I was just trying to explain to my mom about all the cool new graphics and amazing HH's coming up. I tried explaining what the game was and why it was made, then explained the new RS coming on June 1st that I think will have Het Snowflake in it, then I tried explaining the Snowflake gene and how it works. I then went on to explain that Mysterious Sigil RS and Ammit's comment on how people are just jumping the gun on it. Then how astatic I and everybody was about the other new RS HH for Hom Snowflake. She had they look of confusion and utter disbelief as to why and how I was so happy. At the time we were getting gas so she was definitely quicker than usual to get out if the car...my heart hurts, thanks mom. Lol. I wish I had at least one family member who was interested, my cousin showed some interest but then could honestly care less. Well, at least I have you guys. =))

I have honestly tried to explain HHs to my fiancé, and he doesn't get it either. Haha!

This is why I'm thankful for my husband! I got him to play for 3 months before he quit but he'll talk to me about it, go over who to keep and who to cull, he even gets giddy over the babies! He'll help me with learning the genetics by hiding the picture and the color name and just letting me look at the coding and I have to tell him what the color name is.. I knew I married him for more than just his good looks and charm :)) 8->

My spouse is also a gamer, and while we have a fair amount of overlap in what kinds of games we like, I'm more into puzzles and breeding than he is (and NOT one for metroidvanias and CCGs). He can appreciate how excited I get about the things I like, and how much I love long-term goals like setting up new breeding lines and playing with hidden genes.

I have one friend I play this game with. We've known each other... close to 20 years now. Throughout the years we've always played something with each other. It was either Pern roleplay or a horse game. This is the one game we've played with each other for the longest now.

My boyfriend is supportive of me playing, if he sees me on the game he asks me how my ponies are doing :) Sometimes I'll show him if I create or breed an exceptionally fancy looking one haha. I haven't taken the time to explain the game in depth but he asks me about it. Suffice to say we have different tastes in video games ;) haha

I got my mom to play for a bit a long time ago (2007 or 8?) but she stopped after a while because she was switching jobs but during family get togethers when she can tell they’re getting on my nerves she’ll send me to my room with her laptop telling me to go play with my horses :D

Probably the only person who comes close to me being able to talk about it, is my younger daughter who likes horses and understands genetics. She isn't interested in playing this game though so I can only talk to her in general terms. My husband once asked me about the game but got the baffled look when I tried to explain. At least he's stopped saying "Haven't you won that game yet?" :))
