I believe that "Stable Brands" are no longer used in the game. They showed up as symbols in the horse's name.

You can add Tattoos to your horse and the area surrounding them.

If you go to the 6th category on the menu located to the left side of your Stable Overview page called "Stable Management" you will see "Tattoo Registry". It opens up the "Somatic Tattoo Manager"

Purchase a Tattoo slot for 10, 000 hbs.

Click on "Edit Tattoo Image" and design your tattoo. The canvas area is basically 25 squares by 25 squares. You have "brush","eraser" and "dropper" features and a pallet of colors to choose from.

The best way to come up with a design is to search simple pixel art, like Minecraft, or simple "Perler" bead patterns and simple cross stitch patterns and then play around with the tattoo designer.

Be sure to constantly save your design, maybe every 5 minutes, otherwise your work will be lost.

Once you finish your tattoo you can name it (This helps you search fro it using the search page).

To place it on the horse you must be on the horse's page. Choose the "control panel" tab, then at the bottom of that page choose "tack box" to the right, and then "tattoos" to the right. All your tattoos will be there (you can buy as many tattoo slots as you want and have multiple tattoos). You have 10 places available to place your tattoo. 5 on the horse, another 4, one in each corner of the box surrounding the horse and 1 on the lip that is invisible (but is listed below the horse's image and is searchable using the Horse search page).

If you plan to a add tattoo to alot of horses, like using the horse search page, I'd recommend opening the horse's page, clicking on "tack box" then clicking on the horse's link at the top of that page after the words "This is the private tack box of . This will open up a second/duplicate page from which you should open the 'tack box" again, choose 'tattoos" and then add the tattoo(s) to that horse.

DO NOT use the back button or refresh on the page you use to apply a tattoo(s). Either of these actions will add a second copy of the tattoo and charge you for it each time. The worst part s that it's 500 hbs to remove each extra unwanted tattoo. Instead go back to the first page you opened for that horse and use the back button to see how the tattoos look.

Be aware that you will have to spend 500hbs every time you put a tattoo in a spot you don't like so be sure that you are putting a tattoo where you want it.

I have alot of tattoos. I have them to specify a Generation, specific genes (like names that don't show up in color names or that can't be searched for from the horse search page like heterozygous pearl or het S+ horses), for certain breeding goals/blood lines, for mares that I want to put up for public brood and many other things that can't be searched for unless it is a named tattoo.
