Sea Ponies on Yearlings and Drafts?

Question,
I mostly have been creating yearlings because I need time to make room in my pastures before these mares hit breed age. Does that effect my ability to create sea ponies? They're also draft creates.
Just thought I'd ask!

You'll be able to tell they are sea ponies by the ocean background they just won't have the pretty tails!

"ADULT HORSES ONLY! FOALS CAN NOT RECEIVE TAILS. "
So foals/yearlings cannot be sea ponies. Drafts however are perfectly fine! In fact, there are 5 different colored tails for each body type (Draft/Cob, Riding Horse/Riding Pony and Horse/Pony).

I believe I read yearlings won’t be sea ponies, adult horses only.

No, there are some yearling creates that are sea ponies. It's just that they don't have the amazing tail. But it can be added when they grow up. (Man I love sea ponies. :)) )
