She's too pretty...

So, I'm certain she isn't going to pass BA, so... Do I bother with boosting her?

My general rule is that if they pass BA, but fails SBA, then I will consider boosting them. If they fail BA, I will try to breed again instead.
But everyone should play the game in a way that bring them joy, so if you love her, and have the possibility to boost, then you should boost her :)Post edited by Herzeloyde at 2019-06-06 13:03:51Thanked by 1Kintara -
She is super pretty!

It takes 200 IVs or $30 in real money (with this month's anniversary sale) for a 5% boost token. It would probably take at least that much to make her better than her sire and her dam, since she only papered Yellow, which is the same as her grand-dam on the dam's side. Trying to boost 1% at a time would probably be even more expensive in the long run. Either way, the chance that you could boost her to equal or better than both her sire and her dam look pretty long to me.
She's certainly lovely, though.Post edited by SandyCreekAcres at 2019-06-06 13:05:39 -
She's beautiful! But personally if I was placed in this position, I would just try the pairing back next season.. typically to prevent this from happening, I run through SBA before I ever look at their pages
-
I kinda figured that was the case with boosting. I'll have to try again next season. I've never used boosts before, so I didn't want to waste money and not have her be at least equal. Thanks, guys!Chuck help me resist the Shiny babies.... Chuck says I'm on my own. :'(

Her sire and dam are likely very low B/Reds, so a 5% boost would at least make her about as good as them
-
If you really want to keep her, I'd probably boost her a couple of percent just to see if I could get her to red
-
I'll probably just keep her for a pretty show pony and try again next season. Thanks for all the info, guys.Chuck help me resist the Shiny babies.... Chuck says I'm on my own. :'(
