My general rule is that if they pass BA, but fails SBA, then I will consider boosting them. If they fail BA, I will try to breed again instead.
But everyone should play the game in a way that bring them joy, so if you love her, and have the possibility to boost, then you should boost her :)

It takes 200 IVs or $30 in real money (with this month's anniversary sale) for a 5% boost token. It would probably take at least that much to make her better than her sire and her dam, since she only papered Yellow, which is the same as her grand-dam on the dam's side. Trying to boost 1% at a time would probably be even more expensive in the long run. Either way, the chance that you could boost her to equal or better than both her sire and her dam look pretty long to me.

She's certainly lovely, though.

I kinda figured that was the case with boosting. I'll have to try again next season. I've never used boosts before, so I didn't want to waste money and not have her be at least equal. Thanks, guys!

Her sire and dam are likely very low B/Reds, so a 5% boost would at least make her about as good as them
