Fun Eye Colors
-
I have been adding tack to my 2 year olds and after refreshing, this mares eyes went from clear/blue to yellow!
I'm still trying to understand the eye color and figure out which genes do what to affect it. Is this from the one copy of champagne? Does Sabino affect the color? What have you guys found?

Champagne produces amber eyes, so I'd put it down to that gene. The lightness may be a factor of the work Ammit recently did on updating eye color generation. Perhaps the fact that she has extensive white factor may have reduced the pigment in her eyes.
Ammit included a very interesting discussion about eye colors in general in her post about Tiger Eye.
