Guidelines for stud/brood
-
So I'm curious, is there a rule of thumb or general guideline to go by when putting a horse up for stud/brood? As in what horses are prefered, value/price, etc? Haven't done this yet so wanting to get an idea and learn what I can. Tia.

You can search what horses are up for stud to give you an idea, but mostly the average horse won't be worth much because most colours and types are readily available. If you have something a bit different introducing them in a forum post is a good idea and you could get quite a few takers!
