If a colt papers higher than his sire, can you assume he's superior to sire?

I think its possible for the comparison test to return "about as good as" if the sire is at the upper end of his paper level and the colt is at the lower end of his.

There has been A papered colts test 'about as good as' their B papered sire.. the colt would be a low A and the sire is a high B

You know he is superior to his sire. Doesn't mean the test would say those words though.Need to contact me? Read this first.
