Random Spot?
-
I was looking through auction horses today and ran into this girl
8859332
I thought it was very odd she had the one spot on her with no kit genes other then one w20 and a white factor of light. Is that spot completely random or was it caused by w20?Post edited by manesandtails at 2019-07-16 10:02:45 -
I believe that w20, on its own, can cause random spotting. It's more frequently found towards the center of the bottom line, about the end of the ribs, but this could easily be included in the algorithm for the mutation here.
