I purchased a copy of Wrong Warp and DP for my stud yesterday. I've cleared my cache and logged out and in with different browsers. The add DP tattoo has shown up, though the actual image appears broken. The Wrong Warp add has not shown up on the tattoo list nor in his genetics. Appearance has not yet changed.

I know most purchases kick in within an hour. Is there something else I should try to get him to refresh?

It’s showing in his genetics that he’s homo onyx and het watercolour. I believe if you buy genes with real money you don’t always get the tattoo on the horse (but not sure for sure so don’t quote me lol)

ETA: lol if I looked closer I would’ve seen that he has 2 onyx tattoos and a water colour tattoo and a recessive dun to dominate dun tattoo

I don’t see a DP added tattoo

@Bandit the one you're thinking is Dun is actually the DP. If it was dun it would say "nd2 >> D". "d >> D" is DP

Yes, the d>>D is DP. That often throws me when I see it on horses too. That the onyx (purchased with real money) made a tattoo made me thing the Wrong Warp would; at any rate it should show up in his genome.

I've never seen a real money purchase gene not leave a tattoo. I suspect if it didn't it would be a bug.
@ChateauAlbere has the payment cleared your account? And are you sure the DP isn't showing? It is pretty difficult to see it on double creams. If the picture reloaded at all after you purchased it I would guess that it's showing. Also have you gone back to the update page and checked to see if it says those genes are there?

No, the d>D is NOT DP. DP does not show, even in the tattoo list as anything other than a question mark. Unless a change has been made since yesterday, DP only shows as ?>>? In the tattoos, and NOTHING shows in the gene test results line.

I will make Ammit aware of this. She will be able to tell for sure and help you out if you got the wrong gene by accident.

It has been showing on my horse as d>>D only if I purchased it through the gene sales. Through the GMT lab it still shows as ?>>?

I second blu, it's been showing that way from the sales only as long as I've been GMTing horses (ie like six months or so). Snowflake and KP do too, even though they're also hidden genes.

Lol it’s been a while since I’ve GMT’d last time it was d->D. I keep forgetting that nd1 and nd2 were added

@Natalya You know what? good call on the payment clearing. I have the paypal receipt for it, but it hasn't actually come out of my checking account yet. I will continue to keep an eye on it.
