Unfortunately I don't have any non-ssty examples on my thread. Usually bays without sooty with DP are a very vivid red color (closer to Cherry Drop colors). I'll look for some examples after I eat unless someone else beats me to it :))

Yeah @Natalya the wild bay does make them more red than a standard non sooty bay with DP, but you can still identify regular type bays by a more reddish base.

According to this thread on HJ2, this horse is proven hom DP:

And this one was suspected het DP:

(Actually I thought I remembered them being a lot more vibrant red in the past, but you can still tell that they're darker than ordinary)
