I would take cream off, add homozygous appaloosa, KP, Sty+, Homo DP, Het Sabino 1, White 3, Tiger eye 1 homozygous.

I'd do Sabino, another pearl instead of the cream, maybe S+, or ND1 (although I don't like it as much as I did), and Hom PATN1, but no LP. I'd probably also make her as tall as possible, too.

Lol well I’m definitely not doing two copies of pearl - I actually hate liver pearls, but I love chocolate palominos!

And she will 99% become a he, so no eggs. Since losing A Star to Follow, I’ll need another herd sire to take his place. Minus the Appaloosa though. ;)

I could do Sb2 + W8, it’ll just take a while to save. I wish the GMT Lab was *slightly* more affordable!

I agree.. I don’t love nd1 as much as I did, I feel like it’s hardly noticeable now, so that’s kind of disappointing. But I know I won’t be able to afford S+ in the GMT lab either. This RGS really did not go in my favor LOL.

I just like the white against the darker colors, and Appy is cheaper than a lot of the other genes. :D

Ah, but that is the reason I breed for hom PATN1...you get to keep the spots even when they varnish! :D

So this beauty has 1 copy of Sb2! Just need to buy another 10 GMTs and I think I’ll add KP too. He’s almost done!

In a very general way - Varnish controls how quickly Appaloosa’s turn white.

@LCorona001 Varnishing is a real gene in Appaloosas that over time makes them all turn white. Every Appy has some form of Varnishing. Some Appys lose all their spots and turn completely white. Others, keep some and maybe all of their spots. It's one of the main reasons why a lot of people don't breed Appys because of it but some people (like me) don't mind it at all and actually love it!

Here are all my Appys. Some of my best examples for Appys that keep their spots are "The Darkest Spots, Covered In Glitter, and Only Time". And I lost my best example for a horse who lost all their spots and turn completely white. But the one who does come closest is my girl "Chinese Dragon Fire". She had nice big spots on her hide, but as you can see she doesn't have them no more.
