Is this a newly added thing or did i miss it? Mares can now be comparison tested to eachother :-O

Yup. I've more or less lost nearly all my 6th gens, but I don't mind. I always had suspected that there was mare lag present since they were from older lines.

to compare every mare but foundations in my barn ... but it was so worth it ... now wait for roll over so i can get everyone where they belong.

I'm surprised at how many 5th gen Golds were tested to be AGA their 4th gen Blues which were sup to their 3rd gen Blues.

I’ve spent over 100,000 already! I still have a bunch left to test, but I got through a good chunk!

Discovered that none of the daughters of favorite Foundation Mare test test superior. They’re all papered Red (Mare is Yellow) so a I know they’re just a little better than she is, but they must all be low reds. Hoping I get a superior daughter from her next season!

Actually I was really surprised at my 5th gens, I had a lot more test sup then I thought I would. Turns out I was doing better than I thought. my 3rd gens were a disaster, but i needed to weed those out anyways. Now i have tones of show ponies, even if some of them are getting up there. I did notice that my boosted lines ... did not do well at all. I think I might start avoiding boosted for a little bit

Boosting just lets you skip up a generation. If you do only half the line it's the same as uneven breeding.

I have a feeling that I will lose quite a few of my stallions this way, but that's ok. I have straws from my deceased foundation sires to rebuild the lines.

Im very surprised some of my gold lined mares are superior! The strangest was an 11.9 Gold tested superior to her 12.7 gold mom...hmmm xD
Most of my lined broods are AGA like my studs though :b

@bravo25 That is not so strange. Remember, the foals PT has nothing to do with its own breeding ability, but everything to do with the breeding ability of the dam and sire :)

I managed to get a blue papered filly from a yellow mare that tested as good as. :))
