Is there an advantage to using this option, given it pays less, vs auctioning for a 2500 minimum?
Searched the FAQ's but could not find anything, just curious XD -
It gets used on horses that, for whatever reason, you don't want to come up for auction. It has to be worth more to the owner to have it go directly back to the game than to get those extra 1500+ HBs if someone else picks it up.Thanked by 1ConfluenceStable

If you want top GMT one of the horse's parents, selling it back to the game guarantees it will disappear from the foal list, but if they go to auction someone could buy themSpiderweb Stables
