Finally went Premium!
-
After month hymming and hawing about it I finally upgraded to a Premium account \:D/ I finally decided that $7.50 a month was a small price to pay for a game that I play daily and that brings me so much enjoyment. I'm really looking forward to taking advantage of the new features! Less excited about now having SBA and probably culling half+ my herd... LOL
Yay! -
I love my premium account. I only have basic on the other server, and it’s shown me how spoiled I am!
-
I upgraded my HJ2 account, too ;)) I figured if I was going to upgrade I should go all in with it...
-
I have 2 premiums on server 1 and a basic on server 2.. I definitely love the benefits of the premium.. it took me all of 3 days of playing to get my premium
-
@Bambi207 I waited it out to make sure I was going to stick with the game before I upgraded. Needless to say, 6 months later I'm still here and logging in every day haha. Definitely worth it :D

Just SBAed my whole herd @-) I actually didn't lose as many breeding stock as I thought. There were definitely some heartbreakers but overall a lot of my favorite foals passed. And it makes me appreciate them even more now that I now they've passed the highest level of testing. Plus, I've almost filled up my next show barn and I will get a pretty chunk of change after the Tuesday auction :D lol!
I am really excited to do more comp testing now that it's cheaper for me. I don't think I am going to use it quite as strictly as some do, but it will be a really good tool for me when narrowing down my herd or deciding whether one is good enough to keep.
The strangest phenomenon during my SBA spree was this guy... BOTH his 2G parents failed SBA, but he passed. He is only AAGA his sire, who tested Superior but failed SBA. I guess in this little dude's case, the pasture bonus helped him sneak through. We'll see if he's actually a decent producer or if he gets the snip. Just bizarre to me that he made it this far lol

It's not necessarily that weird that he passed, he only had to be as good as his parents, not his grandparents. He very well might not be as good as his ExPro grandparents. I'd guess not, since he's as good as his sire, and he couldn't live up to his ExPro dam.Spiderweb Stables

You could always test him back to his grandsire.Post edited by bluchrystals at 2019-08-25 13:55:51

Good point, blu. If it were me, I'd test him against his damsire. I'd want him to at least be better than the B papered foundies.Spiderweb Stables

I might go premium next month. I am also addicted to this game, it seems well worth it too!
-
Talking about premiums...I have three. Two on Bluegrass and one on Forest. I play JenBlu and ChrystalBlues for the breeding/pretty foal fun and bluchrystals for the forum interaction and the barn drudgery. =))
-
I'm sure y'all are right. I was just very surprised to see it haha. That being said, I guess I'm surprised the offspring of ExPros didnt pass either, haha
-
Oh, i’ve been debating getting premium for the past few months... now I just might have to. Might use the fact that my senior year starts tomorrow as an excuse to treat myself lol
-
@BlueBoy That sounds like an excellent excuse! ;) I hope the start of your school year goes well!
