    It's finally here! The outer band has recently approached right near where I am in Daytona Beach, FL. The palm trees are shedding all over the yard and my dog just wants to go outside and feel the wind in his fur. =))

    The power keeps flickering but I've got an arsenal of candles just in case. Oh and books! Lots and lots of books. Mandatory curfew is in effect and it definitely shows. I took Koto for his last potty break a bit ago and not a soul in sight.

    Got any favourite "ooh no the power is out" books? :D

    I love my Kindle! Trying to convince my mother it'll be an awesome investment because she will read aaaaaanywhere lol. She picks 4-6 books, shoves them in her mammoth purse, and off she goes. Probably one of my fondest memories from childhood was getting to pick a book to read out of her purse.
