So I guess I should’ve asked this before I wasted 1.2 million hbs... when you clone a horse you can’t add RGS alleles? I was also under the impression that if you cloned a higher generation horse it would come back as a foundation... double wrong.

No, fantasy genes don’t clone (unless they didn’t have one)

No fantasy genes. I was just going to add satin onto the foundation clone as he is technically a foundation. He shows up in the gmt lab just fine, just not on the list for the rgs

Correct, clones have never been available to use in the RGS. When gene sales first started and weren't automated, you could submit a clone to Ammit to get approval to have genes added but they typically had to be pretty plain.

All fantasy and most open special genes don't clone. (example - GP, KP, Nexus, Brindle don't clone.)

A clone is just that, a clone of the chosen horse. Parents and all. :) Although making a foundation-clone is a neat idea, DHH's already cover all non-special colors you can make foundations of.

You can't unalter a clone either. ^_^ I wasted many hbs on that experiment lol.

Haha glad I’m not alone. That’s the first time in a while of playing I felt beat. I’ll just have to wait and save up to put on Satin via the gmt lab. Thanks @Johara!
