Do you ever just #-o

Have been thinking about doing some GMT to a Rank Special stud to add some genetic diversity to my herd of 2nd gens. Recently I've been really interested in brown, DP, and ND1 especially with fun extras like silver or frame. Well I managed to get a Candy Appleloosa Herd Helper and I was excited about it, thinking the hom brown made it a fun B-papered base for me! In the past I was pretty opposed to adding Appaloosa genes into my mix but now I'm not so strict on that. So! I went ahead and splurged on two copies of DP for my Candy Appaloosa @-) Woohoo, I'm thinking he's going to be a really cool stud for me, maybe I'll add ND1 or a fun kit gene eventually, if I can save up??

Then it hits me..... I basically just created a Pretzel Twist :)) it would have been so much cheaper to have started with a Pretzel Twist base and just made him hom brown... I sold my Pretzel Twist back when I thought I was adamantly against Appy genes. Oops!! I feel so silly :))
