age to show....

We can show foal... but i think i read somewere that it would be better to wait until they are 2 to start showing them? Is it true? I was showing my foal bit not sure anymore if its a good idea...n i try to have as much show hors so a can start making som hbs.... but i dont want to "burn" my foal

It doesn't do them any harm if you show them. The reason a lot of people don't bother is that it is entirely random if they win or loose (based on the score of the other foal in the class) and they only gain half a point even if they win. The last I knew the game wasn't adding those half points to the horse's lifetime point total so they don't add anything toward your showing bonus.
Showing a foal can give you a more exact reading on it's consistency (since a horse with a test result of "consistent" can be inconsistent up to +/-2) but otherwise there is not much benefit.Breeding high quality Sheldasen horses in all the fancy colors.
