Hey everyone! I got premium now and it's going to be a party! I now have unicorns(technically they do have a horn lol!) So happy already with it, there's just a few other things I have to figure out, like what to call my new chat room and what to use it for specifically? Any other help or advice on how to use the new features would be awesome as well! Thank you ! This is such a great place here with so many wonderful people, it's amazing! So I will also be giving eggs from some of my mares next season, liver pearls & DP leopard mares! And eggs from this girl when she is of age(won in a food contest and thought I would share her a little)! She's a clone of a Hidden Gates mare, so I have No idea what all her hidden genes are, she has Snowflake and is het DP but what else? Good luck to anyone who can answer that for me!

I would start with the chats that deal with genes you have interest in... I have an open Liver chat, there's a snowflake chat, etc

I have several chat rooms that are used for selling horses or buying them from other upgraded players. I simply call them my Horse Exchanges. They are all closed rooms, meaning that I add and remove people to facilitate safe sales of horses.

If you look through the list of By Request chat rooms, you may find some that you'd like to be part of. Just click on the name of the chat and request to be added to it. The owner decides who is admitted.

@Bambi207 I thought about that but there are already so many other chats that are for the same things I like out there like ones for liver/DP, Appie,kitM...etc! I thought maybe a chat for just Leopard Appies but like I said there are like 5 or 6 others that are just for Appaloosas so I just don't know about doing that. I wanted to do something that was a little different? There are also 3 different kinds of chat rooms too, open, private so on!

@LCorona001 i don't think so, KP would be showing up if she had it because she has two kit genes and I don't know about GP, it only shows on bays doesn't it?

Not if she only had 1 gene of KP. And no, GP shows up on every color. KP and GP are recessive, needing two copies to show. And she did say that the hidden genes wouldn’t show up till later generations

Oh well then those could be very good possibilities! Would there be a way to test this to find out? Like maybe breeding her to studs that are Hom KP or GP a few times and see what happens?

Gulastra Plume only shows up on Bays

Ok I will have to keep that in mind when she is of breeding age! Or if someone else that gets an egg from her finds out that would be nice as I don't have Any studs with KP or GP on them!

GP only shows on bay based horses (E- with A, A+, At). If you seen it on any other color, Chestnut/black based horses (ee --, E- aa) it's splash.

This is not talking about any coat modifiers (like cream, dun, champagne, Etc).

"Gulastra Plume is abnormally high pigment loss of the tail (but sometimes mane as well) in bay horses resulting in white hairs. It is named after the Arabian stallion Gulastra who sired many gulastra plume foals though he himself was chestnut and did not show the marking. There is no evidence to show gulastra plume is a distinct gene. Many things can cause a lack of tail pigment. With out further evidence it remains purely hypothetical."

Yes but most LE genes are not cloneable which means she would not get Gulastra Plume from cloning and the only way to add GP to her would be through the GMT lab as you can not add roving Gene sale genes onto clones. Since snowflake occurs naturally in normal creates, Snowflake is cloneable. So she is only DP and Snowflake

I believe she said that she Added an other hidden gene on her After she had cloned her. Her page shows that somethings were changed and added but we don't know what because it only shows this ?>>?

Does anyone else have any other advice for chat rooms? What about all the other stuff that you can do? I found where you can set up your barns for auto showing but that's about it so far, lol!

A Premium Upgrade opens up Strict Breeding Advice, I believe, and I know that it cuts the price of papering your horses in half to 4,000 hbs instead of 8k.

I've had my Premium Upgrade so long, that I have to go the the Upgrade with Real Money page to reread the list of features for it that are listed there. :D

@Taliesin l would absolutely LOVE to breed her to Jack when she's ready! That's a great idea to find out!

I also think I have some ideas about what to use my chats for but some name ideas would be nice lol, didn't want to just call them HorseAngel chat(at least not all of them anyway), did want the name to be something to do with my horse breed and header though so any thoughts on this would also help me out!

So any other ideas or suggestions? Also perhaps can someone tell me if she is Het or Hom Snowflake? Do you have to test breed to know that too?

She shows the snowflake and it's recessive, so she has to be homozygous.

Herzeloyde said that she already had the snowflake, and they added two mystery alleles, neither of which is DP. They can't both be KP or she would show it, so my guess is that it's one KP and one GP.

Oh ok, didn't know Snowflake was a recessive gene! She would be only my second mare that has it so I wasn't really sure! Thank you @Taliesin! KP and GP would be my guess too but as said before it only shows on bays so she would be a carrier even though she's not a bay right?

Yes, GP only showed on bay based horses. I want to say it's recessive too, but I don't breed for it at all, so I don't actually know. But yes, she wouldn't show it if she had it either way

Thank you! Sadly it looks like there will be ready no 3 gens for me this season as I have went through all of my 2 gens and used SBA on them, most of my favorite mares passed but it seems all three of my main studs didn't make the cut so I will have to wait for some of my other younger studs that Did make it to breed that pasture! It was sad but I hope it has left my lines stronger and was a change for the better! I am still very excited about next month and being able to now use eggs/pull eggs and make my first embryos! Thanks to everyone for the great input this is a great community! I will definitely still be learning about all the new things, it should be fun!

That's ok someone else has offered a few RH studs to me and I just got some very nice straws from @bluchrystals too!(thanks to you! I love him!) And wait a minute......well I most be slow tonight wouldn't I need a 2 gen not a 3 gen stud? After all I do breed even and I don't actually have any 3 gen mares yet! Sorry @LCorona001!
