Sorry if I'm asking a simple question or two here which you've all answered a thousand times over already - just need to get a few things straight in my poor cluttered brain :-/

Am I right in thinking that the breeding season ends in the next day or two?

Also, the next one will start at the beginning of March when the foals born this season will turn 1 and so become yearlings?

Breeding season ends on the 28th. On February 1st, our foals will become yearlings, though the other horses do not age. On March begins the next breeding season and this season's foal crop will become 2 year olds.

Thanks for the answers.
So the foals can stay in pasture until 28th Feb if I don't want them auto sold. At least that gives me a month to add stalls to my barn. #:-S
