HJ1 Secret Santa How To, Rules, Etiquette and Entry Form for 2019

THE ONLY exceptions in assignments will be made for family members who also play.

Do you have any members blocked from viewing your barns? If so, you may need to unblock those barns for Secret Santa. It’s the Christmas season, the time of year to put aside any differences!

Entries will be accepted until December 15th. On December 17th the elves will send you a PM with the name and ID# of the person you will be giving gifts to, and that persons wish list.

Anonymous gifts may be sent any time after December 20th.

Between December 23rd and 25th you can send a PM to your gift recipient and let them know what you have for them!

You may enter more than one category/level, but you must do a separate entry form for each entry.

Every year we have people who enter, but, for whatever reason, don’t send any gifts. If you would be willing to join the Secret Santa Elves Corps and be in the Secret Santa Reserves, send a PM to HJ1SecretSanta2019

If you have any questions check out the HJ1 Secret Santa Chat Room.

If you decide to run a game, or contest, or to do your own giveaway, or open a chat room, PLEASE do not call it Secret Santa! Be creative!

You may not add to your wish list after you have turned in your entry. You don’t need to turn the entry form in right away! Think about it for a couple of days!

Other etiquette notes:
No matter what you get you pick up every single horse, even if you probably won't use them, or please don't participate.
No matter who you get as a recipient who wholeheartedly attempt to make their Christmas great or please don't participate.
No matter what you are given you say thank you and you say it sincerely or please don't participate.

Secret Santa is about GIVING TO OTHERS not receiving gifts. If you are signing up because you want someone to shower YOU in gifts PLEASE DO NOT PARTICIPATE.

I would rather half the people on each server pull out and everyone who stays in has a great event then people half-ass doing this. If you are going to half-ass this PLEASE DO NOT PARTICIPATE. For real send a message right now and remove yourself from the event. Staying in? Then good, put on your best community spirit hat and make the season sparkle.
