Liver in real life
-
Playing this game and breeding livers while playing the ever hetero vs homo DP game has me thinking, does this occur in real life across other species that liver occurs in? For example, dogs. I have a liver & white ticked & patched GSP and if you look at a lot of GSPs and pictures of them, their shades of liver vary. I am wondering if there is something similar happening in them. I love love love genetics and color genetics and was just thinking out loud. Thanks for reading!Post edited by Chesneythecorgi at 2019-12-05 18:45:29Licensed in chinchilla, mushroom & splash M

I don't know the answer to your genetics question.. I'm just here to say that my sister and her fiance just got a liver GSP puppy and I'm in love! He so adorable!
I wish I could replicate his coat on one of my pixel ponies, but I don't know if that is even possible.Post edited by Crowned1 at 2019-12-06 03:19:06 -
There are several ways to make a liver-colored coat so the answer to your question is it depends on how it works for that specific type of chocolate-colored coat.Need to contact me? Read this first.
I sometimes get busy and miss things. If your private message, question, etc. gets missed please ping me so I can follow up with you. I am also always happy to explain or clarify. (HAJ does not have a customer service email, please send me a forum message! )

@Ammit - I'm mostly wondering if I could replicate the puppy's liver white-ticked blanket look. He has a dark, mostly solid head and paws, a white-ticked body, and an adorable little solid spot at the base of his tail. He looks similar to this pup, but with dark "socks". https://images.app.goo.gl/6JBy5rTDiVwvXBTY7

A liver roan should look similar to what you are describing.Craven Hill - 86081

W3 with a high white factor may also work..
