    So tiger eye is supposed to be homozygous to show?? Correct?? I thought so, but this filly is throwing me for a loop. First, there is no champagne or splash or other modifier genes that also affect eye color.
    Both parents have dark eyes and only one carried tiger eye so she is HeT tiger eye, but look at the eyes!
    Any one have a guess? Btw, she is from a candle create mare. Is there something hidden in the candles? Or a result of homozygous ND1 ? Or ??

    Tiger eye reacts with cream, even when heterozygous. That's about what you can expect from a het TE buckskin! Cool, huh?
