tattoo question
-
If I have a tattoo already in use on a horse and decide to alter it, will rerolling the horse's image update to the new tattoo? Or will I need to manually remove and re-tattoo to update it?

You can't change any tattoo that is in use on a horse. You have to remove it from all the horses that it is on. If it is on any horses that have passed on, there can be no changing it, and would be easier to just buy and create a new one.Was Rebecca Iavelli on the old forum

Didn't that get changed? Or did I misunderstand? I don't do a lot with tattoos, so I can't remember what it was that was changed
-
No, it was changed. You can now edit tattoos that are already on a horse. If it doesn't change when you edit it, I would reroll the horse.Imation Stud ID# 2609

Kintara is right--you can now modify a tattoo that is in use on horses. However, you do have to reroll the portraits of the horses that have been wearing it in order for the change to take effect on those horses. The new version will, of course, be the one that goes onto horses that aren't wearing the tattoo. There's no need to spend the money to remove the old version first.
Of course, the free portrait rerolling is supposed to be temporary, although Ammit hasn't given us a time frame on that yet. -
Ah, I did not know that it had gotten changed. Missed the info on it somehow. Good to know! Was Rebecca Iavelli on the old forum
