This is my first time doing Secret Santa on HAJ and I'm so excited, but I also have so many questions!

1) I've seen a SS "Elf Corps" mentioned on various threads, but I don't really know how that works. Can I contact an Elf to make a purchase for me (after I send the necessary bucks, of course) and deliver the gift to my SS recipient? If so, who are the elves, and how do I get in touch with them?

2) My SS recipient has several gene licenses, but I don't have any yet. I'd love to get them at least one gorgeous horse with a few of those genes, but if course I can't buy a horse like that myself. Can the Elves help with this?
2b) If I know the combo of genes if love to see for my extra special gift, but can't find a horse that matches that description, can I get someone with those gene licenses to GMT a horse for me (provided I can find copies of those genes to use in the GMT process) [figure me if I sound really dumb here, I've never done GMT, so I don't exactly know how it works]

3) I was excited to see that my SS recipient happens to like some of the herd helpers and colors that I already have in stock! What is the best way for me to get those houses gifted anonymously to my recipient?
3b) I have three associated accounts - do my gifts just have to come from this one (my primary account with a basic upgrade), or can I use my other (free non-upgraded) accounts to find presents for my SS buddy?

1) There's usually a post of Christmas elves. Gifts shouldn’t be sent until the 20th so there’s still some time. Once it’s posted then you can PM whoever is online.

2) As long as the elves have the gene licenses themselves they can help transfer horses but the seller may also be able to contact the recipient and say hey a little birdie stopped by and asked me to get this to you. You’ll have to contact the seller to see if they’d be willing to GMT for you and pay them for them

3) If you already have the RS horses you want to gift the recipient may notice a trend of gifts coming from you.

Personally as fun as it is to give gifts anonymously from previous experience I’ve not been able to really appreciate those gifts (and sometimes don’t even realize they are gifts for me) I usually post a ISO ad and it’s not uncommon for players to send things that match what your looking for without giving a detailed list of things they sent.

So you may still be looking for more gifts and busy with real life Christmas things and also need to sort through all these gifts and figure out which is for your SS(s) and which are from your SS. I’m always scared I might accidentally regift an early present.

Maybe notate that it's a gift for them from their SS in the horse name or notes or straw/ egg label? I saw that just got updated so now you can add labels to straws and eggs you already have on the sale page. Could be useful

so how do we give horses? It sucks they can track sales on the record tab. So are straws, eggs, hbs, IVs, GMTs better to give than horses? Or can we give horses once we are allowed to name ourself?
