DP and S+ Interractions

    With Livers and Chocolate Palominos, I know you have to have at least 3 darkening genes (such as Hom sooty and het DP, or Hom DP and het sooty) but if a horse has s+ do they still have to have a DP to become liver or chocolate?
    Say a horse is het Sooty and het S+ would they color test as a liver or chocolate or do they still need DP?

    S+ is the same as Sty as far as being liver etc
