Does anyone here remember Hue Horse?

The little game Ammit made many years ago, where the colours of the horses was based on how light works, not genetics. You started with 3 base hues. I can't remember what they were called, but it was probably something like yellow, magenta and cyan? And by breeding the different colour hues together with each other, you got new colour hues, that you could breed together in the next generation, to get even more new colour hues. I think there was something like 16 different hues you could get by breeding and mixing, and my favourite was Moonstone.
I just thought that it could make for an awesome consept for a new fantasy gene family?Post edited by Herzeloyde at 2020-01-08 07:13:09 -
Yes! That sounds awesome.

I remember Hue Horse, even though I never played it. I know only because there used to be a link to the game on the really old forums.

I remember it! I think Ammit made it for children to introduce them to basic genetics. The 'foundation' colours were red, green and blue which is based on the colours of light, with a dominant and recessive 'gene' for each colour that you could combine in different ways. It was fun to play even though I was an adult!

That sounds fun! I came around after that but it'd be fun if Ammit brought it around again
