Less Intacts With More Breeding
-
It seems as I breed each set of mares to my stallions (I have one pasture that I send them in and out of) less and less of them come out intact. First round of foundies I had about 30/50 intact. This last batch I had 4. Is this just a coincidence or a new thing?
-
I think it is just good luck/bad luck, and perhaps the first mares stayed in the pasture longer than than the last mares?
-
I always treat intact higher generations as a surprise/gift. That said, on my main account I have gotten DIDDLY SQUAT this season!

Last season I didn't get ANY intact fillies! I only got spayed fillies, geldings or intact colts. This season is a teeeeny bit better but not by much. At least I got a few intact fillies this season, which is better than none haha.Home of Kalluchin Warmbloods and Drafts
