Big spots are what I’m chasing :))

I did get a champagne but he might have homozygous so no idea what he spots are like. I forget if he’s in the ones I still have or the ones that went in the last auction.

I just looked. Either he was the last auction round or he’s hiding

He’s so pretty!

I have some big spot mares. I love the big spots! But all my best era 7 stallions for that line have been littler and littler spots. So I’m going to try to breed up some big spots, but I need a good stallion.

I have a couple era 7 B paper stallions from Christmas whose Red/B offspring can work just fine in that line. But that doesn’t help me a lot with my yellow mares lol

This is my best 3G stallion. I stopped selecting for colour in that line. To my dismay, no one with bigger spots is comparing as good as him yet.

Thanks! Yeah, you kinda gotta start with the huge spots, it seems like. So far this guy is throwing some babies with spots as big as his or bigger, so that's exciting. Can I see the ones you got today?

I’ve created a staggering number of appies from Thursday through today. Tons and tons of the spots I’ve ever seen. Lots of small spots. These are biggest I’ve gotten. I think the big spot maker is broken lol

I have to decide which one I’m keeping. If I keep the frame one, I’ll have to GMT that off I think. That part of my post plain disappeared lol

Yeah, you can totally get straws from Lux! Does 2k each work?
Oh yeah, they're all close but not quite perfect, huh? I like the full leopard and dense spots of the frame, but I think the top one's spots are bigger.
Lol, I actually searched Marzipans until I found one with gorgeous huge spots and messaged the owner asking if they'd consider selling him. That's how I got Lux. The downside of that is that I feel like someday I'm gonna wanna clone him and not be able to

Yeah 2k is perfect!

I kind of wonder what the first one would look like as a leopard, but that would cost me 2 GMTs rather than 1 to take frame off the one that’s already leopard.

But, arguably, I should not be spending GMTs on this tangent at all lol I need to finish my Freaky Friday so I can use him next season. :))

I have a couple of big spots mares I’ve thought about changing to stallions, but the point of the create spree has been to try to get one that doesn’t need any GMTing at all. Lol Still looking for the tie breaker. Either that or I settle on the first. But it’s kind of cool that the second has silver.

Arg! I’m going to end up with dozens and dozens of C papered Appy stallions lol

Superstitious has always been ornery about giving me foals that both pass and paper up. If she makes it through rollover, I’ll hit you up for some more and try again.

Sooty and DP reign in my Appy line. Their spot sizes vary from tiny, small, medium, and large. My latter generation seem to be getting smaller and smaller.

@Katiedid I haven't noticed any connection between sooty or DP and spot size. As best we can tell, it's controlled by genetic factors we don't have access to
