This has annoyed me for ages so I usually avoid using the sort by in barns and pastures, but I used it today as I wanted to pull my aged mares out of the pasture, and wanted to find them.

But when I do a sort by I can't get it back to the default!! Does my head in lol!! I have to log out, and close everything to get it to go back default view. Plus today I discovered if I set the sort by age on a pasture, it then defaults to everything. So my barns are stuffed up too!! Help!!

The default is sort by ID number, I believe, which is one of the options on the drop down. Switch them to that

Hmm, or is it ID number in pastures and gender in barns?

It doesn't work for me. And default isn't sort by ID anyway, in the barns, it's by gender with stallions, then spayed mares, mares then geldings. Then I dont know what it sorts by. But in the primary barn, which is the one I really need to go back to default, it jumps off the pull down menu and doesn't let me select. At least in the past it would automatically go back to the default on it's own when it stuffed up

I don't even think pastures are by ID, I never quite worked out what the default was

Ok so I went back into the pastures and changed one to sort by gender. Being all mares nothing changed but they are still on sort by age.. But I went into primary barn and they are sorted by gender but opposite to default. The whole sort by feature does my head in!! I'm going to just have to close everything and start again. How does anyone else use it??

Are you on mobile? Cuz it does that "jumping off" thing to me too on mobile. I've figured out that if I touch it and swipe my finger up just a little, like I'm scrolling down a line or two, it opens and stays there.
And you're right, and I'm pretty sure sort by gender is the same thing, but upside down

Also default is an option, but it doesn't appear to do anything at all :-?

Yes on my phone, in a bit of a basic living situation so limited power. It was much easier on my desktop or laptop lol! I think I'll just avoid the sort by for now!

The only way I have found to "reset" it, is to log out and back in.

It's fixed on the new layout but I am still waiting on Haystack to actually get it rolled out. Holidays and then house kind of exploded things for him.
