It's cause you're new, lol. I struggle to get all my horses bred within a month. I'm currently going 'dang it, it's already the 19th..." :))
But yes, I remember that phase. I feel like there was a post somewhere with ideas for what to do when all your horses are bred/you have no money, but I'd have no idea where to find it now. Here's some I can think of off the top of my head, though:
~Play with tack. Make all your ponies pretty
~Come up with fun names for any who don't have any
~Reorganize your barns/pastures/tattoos/name prefixes/ however you organize your horses
~Plan out next breeding season/ work on defining what exactly you want to breed for
~Build up your show herd of horses with high PT scores
~If you still create horses with points, work on getting Herd Helpers with good or exceptional showing as part of them (basically Good Show, Exceptional Show, Exceptional Producing Appaloosa, Perfect Foundation, Exceptionally Perfect Foundation, anything with 'perfect' in there somewhere, any and all Rank Specials) and create horses with them to sell to us folks who don't get pointed creates anymore. You can usually sell them for a third to half their lifetime payout, depending on things like PT and genes and just how many points they have, and you can make a tidy profit for a while doing that if you're smart about it. It also extends the time you'll get pointed creates, because that stops at I think 20k total points of all your horses

Thanks for the suggestions. I think part of it is just that I'm still learning what everything means too, so I kind of look at stuff and just draw a blank lol. I read a little bit of the FAQ and guides until my head starts to hurt then move on to something else. Thanks again for the suggestions, I'd like to see some more if anyone has some that haven't been made yet.

Have you worked through the achievement tasks that are listed in the brown area on the lower right side of the screen to help new players explore various aspects of the game?

(I had to go log into my beginner account that I have to help me give advice to new players, since it's 9 years since I started this game and there have been a LOT of changes during those years, including the appearance of the achievement tasks. :D)

It has traditionally been difficult to make money by selling horses in this game. Everyone is breeding their own, and unless you have specific genes that are currently in high favor, there isn't a big market for most horses.

There really aren't any quick ways to advance because the whole game is designed to be an exercise in patience and the gradual building up of a stable breeding and showing herd.

Showing is where most players make money. Each time a horse is shown, it will receive a number of "show points" which are awarded based on how many horses are in a class and the level of that specific class. Only the horse that places last in a show gets no additional points. These show points are the basis for the nightly showing bonus. I believe the formula is total number of show points times .75 divided by 7 awarded each night. I think this award goes out at 3 am game time.

You can see how many points you currently own by checking the "Performance Overview" on your stable home page. My record tells me this, at this moment:

You currently hold 2,359,622 points.
You earn a 252,816 hb's daily bonus from showing.

Until a stable has gained 20,00 show points, every create will come with a random number of points before they are ever shown. This can range up to 1,000 points, but horses that come with that many will be rare. Once a stable has 20,000 points, new creates will not come with any "free" points.

One strategy you might try is to check how many points each of your horses has and auction off the ones with the fewest points. However, since horses will probably add more points each time they are shown, you may not want to get rid of too many.
