Idk this might be kind of silly because I love this game so much (and I know its been this way for a while) but I used to get really attached to my ponies, especially my show ponies. I'd give them all funny names and tack and things but now I don't because I get too sad that they disappear forever if I haven't found a way to preserve them in my lines. I miss seeing all the foals a mare has had even if they have been yummed. I realize its a huge game though and probably uses an impossible amount of storage so I try to save screen shots of my special ones. But I still hand breed all of mine and at the end of the year I find myself trying to make sure all my favorites have at least one intact foal.

Anyone else do this or have another way you save your favorites? Am I just weird? Lol :)
