Mushroom Stallion
-
Is it possible for a stallion with one copy of mushroom to produce a foal with mushroom?
-
A horse needs 2 copies of mushroom to be called “mushroom” in their color, so a foal would need to inherit one copy from each parent. A stallion with one copy of mushroom could produce a mushroom foal, only if bred to a mare that also has 1 or two copies of mushroom, though the chances of the foal inheriting both copies are lower.Player ID #250257, She/Her

If you dont mind being extremely patient, you can breed Mushroom in down generations. Starting with a het Mushroom foundation, keeping all the het fillies and a few het colts, you can reach homozygous Mushroom possibly by third gen and definitely at fourth.
