My Liberation Actualization mare produced a beautiful foal that didn't pass breeding advice. I sold it back to the game so I could still GMT her. Afterwards I see she still has a foal listed in her records. This little gelding didn't disappear like they usually do, and his record page said "purchased by Hunt and Jump Auction Bidder. Rescue this horse for 2500hbs."
I did not put him in the auction, just sold him back to the game for 1000hbs. I've never seen that happen before. I assume since he still exists I would not be able to GMT the mare still? I wasted money and bought him back after refreshing the game several times. I figured if I can't get rid of him I can just use him for a show pony.
Any one else ever have that happen? The mare can not be GMT'd if she has living descendants, correct? Why did that happen anyway haha?

Did you check right after you sold him back to the game? Horses can be saved for the first few (5?) minutes after they are sold back to the game. It also takes some time for the horses to be deleted after they are sold back, so you might want to give it a few hours after you sell it back.

I didn't know that. That could be what happened, then. I maybe gave the entire thing 3-5 minutes, if even that much. Can't say I've ever experienced it not just quickly disappearing lol! I suppose I'll just keep him. He has a back story now and he's pretty lol! Thank you!

Yes, that is normal and supposed to happen. It is so you can buy them back if you sell them accidentally. It does that for every horse you sell back. If you had left him he would have been removed from the game. The auction bidder is the account you sell horses back to the game too.
