Ooooh I didn't realize they all went on sale ... Oh this was just not a good time darn it LOL.

I work for an independent Liquor Store (Locally owned) and we are right now struggling to keep the doors open. There is three of us that work full time (give or take) and if one of us gets sick with COVID-19 we will have to shut the whole store down. Unfortunately we have some people that are making it really difficult when they come through the door, sneezing and coughing even though we have a huge sign that says not too and then get bent out of shape when you ask them to cover their mouth when they cough or sneeze. You really want to loose your mind, but instead smile, put distance and resist the urge to hose them down with Lysol. Then as soon as they leave the bleach water spray bottle comes out and the tills and counters are hosed down. Hands are washed and we do it all over again. I've ruined two pairs of pants ... black leggings and bleach water do not mix.

Today was the most frustrating of days. Yesterday we counted in an 8hr shift that we were exposed to 250 people (not all at the same time) and we aren't even the bigger of the stores. In other provinces their stores are government owned and therefore were closed yesterday. So we had to do a lot of explaining that we are not a government owned store (my province does not have government owned) and that we are open for as long as we have stock and none of us are sick. Today due to announcement we were way busier, we lost count past 250.

I'd kinda like to splurge on a new guy ... but alas I may have to wait ... Sorry didn't mean to vent LOL

There wasn't an announcement. I asked on Facebook, because the US has been getting taxes back. With all of us stuck at home, it was something to do...even though it has cost a bit, personally.
