I don't seem to be able to post links to horses since we moved to the new server.

I use the button above (second from right) and insert the horse's page URL from my browser bar but all I seem to end up with is a link that jumps back to the forum page I'm posting on.

Not sure if I'm doing something wrong?

I usually open 2 windows, one for the forum, and then a window for the horse. I copy the URL from the horses page, then put it into the comment box, then I highlight it, and then click the second from the right button. Then you have to remove the " that show up on the URL (I have put a space after each one of the " below, so you can see how the post looks, just, dont put the spaces in, take the " out)

So it will do this:

Edit: Hmmm, I guess you actually don't have to highlight it and use the button, because the first one I did even with the breaks, goes to the horse. So I would still use 2 windows, just post the link from the horses page to the comment box in the forum, and it should work.

I don't use the link button at all. I just paste the URL in directly and my links seem to work fine.

You can post a direct link by copying and pasting the link itself. See here:

The link button is for linking to a page with different text than the URL of the website. For example:
SSH2 Amber Globes

HTML uses tags that open with ( < ) and close with ( > ). Putting an a between those tells the browser it's a link, and href="-----" tells it where the link is. Whatever you write AFTER the tag's closing arrow ( > ) is the text that people will see and click on. The series is then closed with ( < ) /a ( > ) to tell the browser that the link is over.

EDIT: remove all parentheses and space that I've inserted.. Just hit the button, copy and paste the link between the quotation marks, and put the text you want people to see between these guys: > <
