When asking about particular horses it’s always best to include links if possible. To the mare, the stud you used or the other foal.

There’s millions of horses in the database and it can be hard to find one. You know your herd much better than we do and would be able to provide the info much quicker than someone else going to try to find it and having to look through every single one of your horses to try to find which one your talking about.


Also in the future I recommend using # in all of your names (can be used as the whole name if wanted) this auto fills the horses ID# in and almost always assures you that your horses name will be unique. You can always go to the horses page after and change the name to what you really want it to be minus the ID#

@annismyrph you cannot put any other letters of numbers in front of it, then it wont work. Only putting in # generates the ID number. This also works for creating horses with herd helpers by the way!

I always create horses with # as a name, then go to my primary barn, look them up in the search, open up the ones I want to keep and change their name on their individual page. Then I can easily auction or move the non-named horses.

With my foals I also almost always name them #. With my foals and especially my show horses I use the mass name generator (at the bottom of the barn page) and use 'add before' and then 'MS SHOW ' so every showhorse will be named MS SHOW ID#.

I don’t usually put other numbers in my names just put my prefix and any gene indicators (JLa AX # B) or herd helper name #
