Hi everyone!

I have some very exciting news, I got engaged yesterday! I'm so happy. It was completely unexpected, I still can't believe it. Some of you may have seen, I've been working on a special project the last few months and I'm happy to say he's finally ready in perfect time. I've been wondering for a few weeks how I'll go about releasing him and how to make it special. Finally, I have the perfect reason.
A few years ago, I was in a terrible place in my life. I was barely holding onto my awful job. I was financially very very poor. I was trapped in a relationship that had gone sour a long time ago and things were not looking great for me. Now, I'm a support worker, finally doing something with that degree I got, I got engaged yesterday and having looked into our finances, we could afford the deposit to mortgage a house soon. Amazing how much can change in a few years. I'd like to say a huge thankyou to the community of Hunt and Jump for helping keep me sane through all of this and for keeping my mood up, even when times were hard. I'm hoping with this stallion, I'll be able to give something back to the community and spread the love.
I have worked really hard to get this boy together since Christmas. One of the first genes he got was chocolate. I was a little disappointed when I found out chocolate was counting as a fantasy gene as I was hoping to keep things simple on him with being able to register in gene clubs, but never mind. I'm so pleased with how he has come out and I cannot wait to see his stunning foals and any interesting combos of what people breed to him. He is completely open gene so everyone can enter.

I will be releasing 50 straws this month - 10 prizes of 5 straws each.
To enter will be really simple. Please follow the format set out below. Please be careful when putting your entry number, and please check again after you have posted. I'd like to know your ID, to make it easier to send straws straight over. I'd like to know something positive you have has happen to you this year. This can be in your life or on game. I feel we really need to spread some positivity around with the current state of society. I'd like a link to your fave horse (Can be yours, someone else's, lined or foundation) and I'd like to know why its your fave.

I'll be ending this giveaway on the 15th April and will be using a random number generator to select our lucky winners.

I don't breed for color nor draft built horses though he is STUNNING ;
something good that happened to me this past month of craziness was finding this place and the amazing people here ; I think so far one of my favorite homebreds ( tho she is a bootstrap ) is because of Heifer and the help & horses given produced this little filly last season :)

A positive thing this year was joining hunt and jump last month. The community is wonderful and have really helped me with their positive vibes although I’m not one to complain this year has been really hard on me. Tbh I am traumatised from December January fires in my area and this community have really helped me through it. And now I’m crying I’m not one to open up but this community on all servers are just so wonderful and helps me get out of my own head.

I have a massive weakness for water colour lace and ice so this little stunner really pleases me

Something good: I’m honestly terrified of this virus. Even though I am a very young adult, I have asthma. When I got pneumonia five years ago, I had to do a breathing treatment of liquid asthma medicine at least once a day because I couldn’t breathe. If I get this, I’m in serious trouble. Between worrying about that and struggling to keep my grades up now that college is online, which is a nightmare for someone with multiple learning disabilities, it’s been rough. This game is one of my escapes. Everyone here is so kind and so generous!

Something good: People can so good hearted. The smile of a stranger on the street or a kind word from a neighbor or the salesperson of the local store can really make my day. Even if face to face contacts are now scarce, people have taken it onto them to be kind whenever they can. I appreciate it and try to likewise bring some joy into the days of others. I had a really positive encounter yesterday when doing my shopping.
Favourite Horse and Why: I came across this horse in the search one day and found him stunning. The dapples are to die for.

Something good: Around October of last year The daunting news came upon me: I was too big to ride my mare (a pony). This was absolutely devastating for me, I felt like my world was crashing around me. I knew at some point in my life I'd outgrow ponies, but I didn't expect it to come so soon. So as my new year's resolution I made it my goal to lose enough weight to ride her again (20 pounds). I've worked very hard to cut back on carbs and work out and just a few weeks ago I found out I dropped 32 pounds :) I'm back to happily riding again and I'm happier than ever

Favorite Horse and why:
When I first started playing this game, Kit M and Frame was my favorite combo (especially when frame had the fun swirly's). I remember being so overjoyed when he passed BA, he's the only living horse in the game of his color. He's completely varnished out now, but when he was first born he was the prettiest thing I had ever seen :x

Something good - I am working with my mare to get ready for our first mounted shooting competition, and I successfully shot while riding her for the first time last week. It went so well that I planned on just doing it at the walk, but was actually able to shoot at the trot and the lope as well!
Favourite Horse and Why - I can never pass up a chance to show off my Whim. She was one of the first horses I bred when I started playing this game, and I think she’s just gorgeous.

Something good - This Coronanonsense has actually been been pretty good for me in a financial sense because my partner and I are both still getting paid, so we're basically gonna be socking those stimulus checks into savings
Favourite Horse and Why - My favorite tends to vary as a new delightful GMT project or perfect foal comes about, but I suppose it always comes back to Jack:

Jack the Pumpkin King
He was the result of the first time I really sat down and designed exactly what I wanted in a foundation and then GMTed it, so he's pretty special. And lots of other people have gotten a lot of enjoyment out of him and his foals and grandfoals too, which I really love.
I also want to say that I love Alliance, and if I don't win I'm still gonna want to buy straws from him!
Also @Maribo, congrats on the diagnosis! May you move forward into treatment options that actually help!

Something good- my husband and I found out this year we are expecting our second little one due this fall!
Fave Horse & why- any of my GMTed horses as more money and effort were put into them. Time for coming up with their design and what I wanted to do with them. But I think I will go with Bane bc I believe he was my first and is so special to me, but I love his name and where it comes from

This last week ive had a really challenging time in work. I work with adults with serious complex needs. A few of these live with autism. The current times are impossible for them to understand and this has led to a serious increase in challenging behaviours. This means violence. Its hard enough to manabe at the best of times. Monday I came home with bruises on my shins and a chunk of my hair missing. Tuesday I came home with a split lip and bruising up my face. This weekend I worked 3 shifts back to back and I hadnt been able to sleep for days. Yesterday when it was time to go to work, I broke down. I couldn't do it. I think it was part rear, part exhaustion. James (my fiancee) called my boss and explained and I didn't go in.
I guess what I'm trying to say is these are challenging times for most of us. We need to stick together, look after each other and most importantly, don't forget to look after yourselves.

I am extending this giveaway 24 hours to allow a few more entries I hope.
