    What’s the benefit to breeding evenly? I mean foundation to foundation, or 2G to 2G versus a foundation to 2G or something like that.

    More foals pass SBA. It’s much more highly valued. And the pedigree looks neater.

    It also helps to match paper levels in order to have more foals pass SBA. Not all of them will, of course, but the percentage is a bit higher.
