go to yuor control panel of the horse you want to GMT ; look for the bar that says GMT and you ll find it
OR on the left of your screen ( if you are on a computer ; I am unsure of where it is on a phone ) you 'll see a banner for Switch Up ; they are in there as well :) also under Advanced Facilities ; the options are there as well

Actually, if they are looking for a closed gene license what they need is the Roving Gene Sale (RGS) not the GMT lab. There is a link to it on the horse's control panel, but the main link is Buy Upgrades under the Upgrades section of the menu bar. The RGS is the right hand tab. The RGS usually has 3 genes available for purchase at a time and changes to a new random selection of genes on the 1st and 15th of each month, although during special events there may be more genes available. All gene licenses must be purchased with real money by putting the gene on a foundation horse through the RGS. Watercolor is the only closed gene available at the moment (the other 2 genes currently for sale are also available in the GMT lab for game money).
